Was just thinking, with the big U2 show just a few weeks away now, what’s your favorite show ever at Scott Staudium?

Talking with a friend Monday who says it is indisputable: Eric Clapton was the greatest guitarist in the 70’s. What do you think?

Watching coverage of the Michael Jackson memorial today…are you?

It’s hard to miss, at the very least, the imprint that he left on pop culture in the 80’s. Michael certainly led a controversial life, but one can’t realistically deny his artistic successes or accomplishments.

Still, there are a handful of politicians, cultural critics and talk show hosts who brush those achievements aside and resort to accusations and name calling.

To me, those people just don’t get it.

Haven’t said a whole lot about it on the air, but the passing of Michael

Jackson is very, very sad. I just had Thriller on in the car a couple of weeks

ago…what a great album by a great talent.
